My name is Alyssa Kanipe. I am the Instructional technology Facilitator for West Marion Elementary. I have lived in Marion my entire life. I have two Shitzu's named Copper and Charlie. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University (3 times!). I have my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and a Masters Degree in School Administration. Class Announcements  My MotoIn this school you will find staff and students who become a family of learners. The number one thing I expect is RESPECT. I feel like if you respect yourself you will also respect your teachers, your family, your school, and your work. I will always try to give people the respect they deserve and in turn I expect respect given back to me as a teacher. We will learn together, laugh together, play together, and most importantly - grow together.
